Old Town Abbey is a Chicago-based brewing company specializing in Belgian-inspired ales. These flavorful and distinctive beers pay homage to the “abbey beers” of Europe, traditionally brewed by monks. Art Porto, founder of Old Town Abbey, discovered his passion for abbey beers while traveling in Europe as a culinary student at Kendall College in Chicago. His mission is to bring the tradition and flavors of Belgian-style beers to Chicago-area beer lovers, one distinctive glass at a time. Our friends at Ten Ninety Brewing are helping us brew our recipes while we move ahead with plans to build a facility here in Chicago. Check back here or follow us on facebook for developments and news as we forge ahead. |
